Recipe for 2
Prep time 10 minutes + 20 minutes cooking
. Ingrédients*
2 red onions
1 handful of hazelnuts
1 apple
3 tablespoons of sugar
1 tablespoon of red wine vinegar
1 bunch of dill
3 tablespoons of olive oil
1 tablespoon traditionnal mustard
coarse salt
ground pepper
. Préparation
Cut the onions in half and cook them in the oven at 200 ºC for 20 minutes after pouring salt on them. Then separate the layers of the onion and put them in a dish.
In a saucepan, cook the sugar with a tablespoon of water until you get a caramel texture. Turn off the heat and add the chopped hazelnuts. Mix well and let cool.
In a bowl, mix the mustard, vinegar and oil, then add the diced apple.
Arrange the onions in petals and cover with the vinaigrette, caramelized hazelnuts, dill and salt.
