Trailborn is a new hotel group that offers modern eco-hotels built in the great outdoors of the United States. Accommodations dedicated to lovers of sport, nature and design. The first hotel has just opened its doors in the exceptional setting of the Rocky Mountains.

Founded by Mike Weiss and Ben Weinberg, the Trailborn hotel group aims to fill the lack of contemporary establishments near America's great natural parks. Their first facility, located in Rocky Mountain National Park in the heart of the Colorado Rockies, embodies this vision. They chose to inaugurate their concept in this region known for its breathtaking landscapes, wildlife and world-renowned hiking trails. Their hotel designed as a high-end ecological refuge offers modern adventurers a complete immersive experience.

The Hotel

The architectural and decorative concept was entrusted to the Californian studio Electric Bowery. The decor pays homage to the Americana style and highlights American craftsmanship. Thus, all spaces combine modernist decor and rustic aesthetics inspired by the surrounding wild nature. The rooms are adorned with a delicious mix of warm woods, stone or cork floors matching the palette of pine greens, deep blues and terracottas present outside.

In the common areas, the huge bay windows let in light and invite you to contemplate, comfortably seated on the benches facing the fires crackling in the large fireplaces. We play board games there or study our excursion for the next day.

The spacious rooms are tinged with calm shades inviting you to rest. They are equipped with wooden beds decorated with textiles from regional crafts, and they display indigenous works of art. The bathrooms are equipped with green cosmetics Grown Alchemist. Children can set up a tent in the room.

Throughout the day, guests can enjoy the programs offered by the establishment, ranging from morning yoga to discovery activities for children. The hotel is of course the starting point for numerous excursions and a multitude of nature activities: hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, wildlife photography... On their return, guests relax around the swimming pools or hop on the hotel's bikes and ride along the river to the city.

Casa Colina

The big bay windows of the restaurant and bar open onto the spectacle of the Rockies. We drink a margarita or a local beer, taste the great classics of Mexican-American cuisine sourced from local farms, while admiring the grandiose panorama. Unless you prefer to sit in the Adirondack armchairs around the fire pit or on the terrace to enjoy marshmallows and still enjoy the great outdoors.
